Matt Coale, CCIMBrokerage Professional
Matt Coale, CCIM, joined Burns Commercial Properties in September 2016 as a licensed Texas real estate broker with 21 years’ experience in commercial real estate transactions. Specializing in client project leasing, acquisition, disposition, site selection and investment sales, Matt has successfully negotiated transactions (office, retail, industrial, land) in excess of $140 million, representing 3.5 million square feet.
Matt’s professional experiences include being the owner of a commercial real estate services company, as well as being a senior broker, consultant and project manager for regional and national companies. Matt began his real estate career with Trammell Crow Company, where he directed on-site development and construction activities for single-family home and luxury condominium projects. As a consultant with Coopers & Lybrand’s Real Estate Consulting Group, he advised financial institutions and the Resolution Trust Corporation on the valuation and disposal of commercial real estate assets in Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. At the Walker Companies, he advised corporations on build-to-suit projects for expansion, relocation and consolidation of industrial real estate facilities while assisting clients on business incentives, tax abatements, job development credits and job tax credits. As owner of Trinity Mesa Real Estate Services and senior broker at Stream Realty and Reata Real Estate Services, Matt represented owners of commercial real estate properties on project leasing, acquisition, disposition, investment sales and site selection.
Matt holds a BBA in Finance/Real Estate from Texas Tech University (1985) and an MBA from Tulane University (1992).
In addition to receiving the CCIM designation in 2001, Matt has been a symposium speaker, officer and director of the San Antonio CCIM Chapter, recognized as a CoStar Power Broker, is a 2006 graduate of the Texas Realtors’ Leadership Program, and maintains memberships in the Texas Association of Realtors and North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors.
