About Tracy
Building Engineer
Tracy joined the Real Estate Management division of Burns Commercial Properties to fill the position of Chief Building Maintenance Engineer in our home office location at One American Center. Tracy brings with him 18+ years of facilities maintenance and repair experience in the nursing-rehabilitative care industry as well as that of a self-employed licensed contractor.
During his tenure in the healthcare industry, Tracy was awarded the designation of Maintenance Director of the Year in 2006 and recognized for having no deficiencies found during inspections in 2011, 2012, and 2013 which set a record in the history of his employer’s company. Additionally, he gained a great deal of in-depth experience in the area of life safety requirements in both commercial and residential buildings.
Tracy supervises two assistant maintenance technicians, currently handling a portfolio of three mid-rise office buildings and a mix of 16 retail/industrial properties, servicing 13 clients. He brings valuable knowledge and experience along with a winning personality to our Real Estate Management division, where we strive to provide top-notch service both for our clients and to their tenants. Tracy is a life-long resident of Tyler where he raised his two sons.
